1. Review of previous minutes
Mr. Kennedy updated the staff on the ongoing investigation of the Portuguese family who moved into the home with the above ground pool off the third fairway, who Mr. Bevins alleged to be sleeper cell.
Authorities looked into the matter and after a brief line of questioning, with Mr. Bevins standing in the driveway, the Department of Homeland Security determined there was not enough evidence to continue the investigation. Mr. Bevin's request that the children be separated from the parents during a follow-up investigation was denied.
Despite the family being cleared, Mr. Bevins made it clear to those in attendance he will remain vigilant.

2. Vacation Request
Miguel notified those in attendance that his sister Verónica passed away last night back in Todos Santos after an unexpected battle with Polio.
Miguel requested 3 days of unpaid leave to attend the funeral. The request was denied due to tomorrows Thursday night men's league as well as questions regarding Miguel's ability to cross the border upon his return.
Mr. Kennedy authorized DeAndre to post a condolence card above the urinal in the men's locker room for members to sign at their leisure to be presented to Miguel at a later date.

3. Upcoming club events
The annual youth swim jamboree scheduled for Saturday, August 10 has been postponed indefinitely. According to the county health inspector, the conditions on the pool deck are “unfit for human exposure.” The water started taking on a murky brown hue in the past few weeks and Mr. Kennedy made an executive decision at the suggestion of the health inspector to close the pool until further notice.
Mr. Kennedy urged all in attendance to explore other channels of untapped cash flow to supplement club revenue as the pool snack bar has also been closed indefinitely. Excess Fun Dip inventory has been allocated to the beverage cart.

4. Back to School
Mr. Bevins provided an update on his self described 'Operation Back To School' initiative. A new club safety measure aimed to coincide with the reopening of two public elementary schools within blocks of the club.
Mr. Bevins has mapped out several “hot zones” for truants around the course and will be employing a “zero strike policy” for suspicious persons aged 6-12.
Darrel has been in constant contact with local police officers McGrady and Yanda, through a truancy officer proxy, to be especially observant during school hours, specifically 11:30am-1pm and 3-5pm.
Mr. Bevins was urged to use non-lethal ordnance when dealing with any children who may end up on club grounds for whatever reason.

5. Member-Guest updates
Due to the ongoing conflict with Frank Stone Mitsubishi, the Member-Guest tournament may be without a presenting sponsor this year. CPG is working tirelessly to find a last minute goody bag sponsor, along with six additional hole sponsors.
Calls out to The Law Offices of Gary “The DUI Hawk” Bailey, Filthy Jack’s Tavern, Pfizer, Sav-More Used Car Auto Financing and Speedy Cash have not been returned.
A mandatory all-club member assessment remains a viable option.
