1. Review of previous minutes

Out of an abundance of caution, Mr. Kennedy chose not to attend the meeting in person and instead joined virtually via Zoom from his home. He opened the meeting by admonishing those in attendance for not wearing face coverings. He reminded the group that we are all in this together, and said that if he can wear two masks at all times, surely they can at least wear one. Darrel responded by saying one mask is for pussies and two masks are for guys who like to take it in their dirt knot.

After a prolonged and awkward silence, Chip asked that we move on with the agenda.

2. Member/Guest Preparation

Chip asked CPG a question that was muffled and inaudible due to his double mask but it was something about Member/Guest preparation. The group asked Chip to repeat the question several times but still could not understand. Anastasia suggested to Chip that since he is at home, perhaps he can take off one (or both) of his face coverings? Chip rejected the suggestion, citing the CDC's personal plea to all Americans to double-mask. He also said his wife and his Yorkie were both potentially immunocompromised.

CPG moved on. Explaining that preparations include posting a sign up sheet on the member bulletin board and ordering sheets of plexiglass to randomly place around the clubhouse grounds to give members and guests the "feeling" of safety.

CPG then mumbled under his breath that none of it mattered because he will probably be long gone by then.

3. Security Update

Darrel and Carl each voiced their concern regarding the "home school" family that moved in on #14 last fall. Carl said they "look" Mormon but Darrel thinks they are Jehovah's Witnesses due to the fact they had ZERO Christmas decorations up over the holidays and the father of the family is always wearing suspenders. Anastasia asked what the difference between the two religions were and Carl explained that he's not sure, but he knows that they are all nuts.

Darrel's primary concern at this point is the placement of the family's second trampoline. He believes that it is near, or even past the property line. Carl volunteered to call the city to have a survey team come out and spray paint the boundaries. If the trampoline is found to violate the property line, Carl said he will take the appropriate actions (as he cleaned his fingernails with his pocketknife).

4. Course Maintenance Update

Miguel opened his remarks by saying "GO, TO THE FOOTBALL CHIEFS!"

He then informed the group that his team is spending the downtime this winter providing routine maintenance to the equipment and removing random trees in an effort to look busy.

One of Miguel's major concerns at this point is the favorable weather we have experienced this winter. Miguel explained that he needs poor weather in the winter in order to have an excuse or a "crutch" for members when they inevitably complain about poor conditions in the summer. If this favorable weather continues, he said he will need to come up with a new excuse this summer, such as a bad batch of fertilizer or lack of manpower.

5. Closing Remarks

Mr. Kennedy asked if he could close the meeting by reading a passage from Pete Buttigieg's new book, "Promises to Keep", regarding dealing with adversity. As Chip began reading, the entire group got up and filed out of the room.
