1. Review of previous minutes
Mr. Kennedy reviewed last weekend's Hagerty-Gallagher wedding reception, citing the event as a success. Only one folding table was completely destroyed and the wedding party purchased two extra kegs of Busch Light to accommodate their guests that evening, stimulating club revenues.
Anastasia volunteered her services as a wedding planner for future events, citing her Pinterest account as experience. DeAndre informed the group that the kitchen is awaiting a resupply of chicken fingers and tater tots. Those items will not be available on the menu until Friday at the earliest.

2. Waste Disposal
Miguel informed the group that his new intern Alejandro has devised a plan to save money on chemical disposal costs by dumping all chemical waste directly into the creek that runs along the 14th fairway as well as the pond that protects the sixth green. Mr. Kennedy initially objected to the plan citing potential environmental issues until Miguel explained it would save the club over $1,400 per year. Mr. Kennedy then approved the measure and asked for it not be included in this weeks minutes.

3. Pro shop inventory
CPG briefed the staff on the upcoming “Christmas in August” sale in the pro shop August 5-9. All Bahama Sands and Cutter & Buck golf wear will be marked down 10%. CPG said he also found an old shipment of Nike MOJO golf balls during last month’s inventory that will be available for sale. He expects them to be the “big ticket item” that drives foot traffic and thus, will not be marked down.
CPG also has extended an invitation to the Midwest Regional Sales rep for Maxfli Golf to attend the sale so he can demo the new 2020 plastic club tubes.

4. Homeland Security presence
Mr. Bevins told the staff not to be alarmed if they see government officials on or around the property in the coming days. Mr. Bevins has been led to believe that an Al Qaeda sleeper cell has taken up residence in the house with the above ground pool just off the 3rd tee and that local law enforcement and several government agencies have been notified.
Mr. Kennedy informed Mr. Bevins that this is in fact a Portuguese family who recently moved into the neighborhood. Their children attend kindergarten with his step-nephew. Mr. Bevins remained resolute in his hypothesis and swore to see the situation through, regardless. Miguel then asked if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was one of the agencies contacted and Darrell assured him they were not.

5. Member-Guest updates
CPG informed the group that all tee gifts, prizes and promotional materials for the upcoming member/guest that feature the Frank Stone Mitsubishi logo be promptly removed due to an ongoing disagreement with the dealership over the cost of the goody bag provided to all participants.
Apparently, the dealerships marketing department thought $7 per bag was excessive and wished to cut out the pocket flashlight, replacing the item with five Brach’s strawberry candies and 3 tees (assorted colors). Negotiations with potential replacement partners are ongoing.
Mr. Bevins reminded CPG that “this is what you get working with (the Japanese).”

6. Closing remarks
Chip praised the staff for their vigilance in their duties, but also reminded everyone to not overextend themselves and ask for help from other departments if needed. After a reminder from Mr. Bevins, The Chairperson also urged staff members to cooperate with government officials should they be approached.
